Can I tie them in myself?
- If you are very talented (and experienced), maybe. This is really a two person job.
If you don't have a friend to look to for help, ask your stylist to put them in for you.
Chances are, they will wonder what this fun new product is and want some for their other clients!
Refer them to us and get a nice REFERRAL FEE!
How many strands do you put in a hairstyle?
- The average hairstyle uses 10 to 15 strands.
We have done more if the client wants that extra sparkle, and it is very noticeable.
Let the wearer be the judge.
My hair is waist length--do you have longer lengths?
- Bling Me Beautiful Sizzling colors are available in a 36 inch length.
They can be special ordered by contacting us at 1-866-692-5684.
Where do you tie them in--is there a pattern?
- Usually we tie them in at even intervals along the part of a hairstyle about an inch or so apart.
Clients have also asked to have them placed randomly throughout their style,
and a few just want 4 or 5 tied in their bangs for a little sparkle right by their face.
Let your client decide, and don't be afraid to get creative.
What about men?
- Yes! Yes! Yes! We have Blinged some of the coolest of the cool!
They loved it and they looked awesome! It's all about the client, right?
How long does it take to put them in?
- If you have had experience at tying them in, it takes less than 15 minutes
to do an entire head (about 10 to 15 strands).
If you're just learning, be patient because like anything new, you have to learn and master it.
Can I wash my hair?
- Yes! Bling Me Beautiful can be left in while shampooing, conditioning and
while using any other hair styling products that you usually use in your hair.
- If you are getting a color weave, they can be lifted away from the hair being processed
and they will be fine. If you are doing an all over color and they are exposed to the chemicals
from coloring the color can be stripped off, so remove them and have your stylist
replace them after the treatment is completed.
Can I brush, blow dry, curl, or flat iron my hair?
Yes; Bling Me Beautiful is a synthetic fiber, so for maximum longevity follow our guidelines.
- Like other types of extensions, you need to treat Bling Me Beautiful gently for maximum longevity.
They can be brushed, but do it with care.
- We would advise that you avoid using combs--especially fine tooth combs.
If you must use a comb, make sure it has wide teeth
and you don't get it under the knot and slide off your Bling.
- You can blow dry and round brush your Bling Me Beautiful.
- When using a curling iron or flat iron,
we suggest you use it on a medium to low heat setting (lower than 380 degrees).
- For curling, they will follow a gentle curl with a curling iron, but to achieve a tight curl
you need to run the strand between your fingernails (like Christmas ribbon).
- You can use all of your normal styling products--
hairsprays, pomades, gels, mousses, oils, etc.
- Please note that hair crimping tools are NOT to be used.
What do I do if the Bling Me Beautiful is longer than my natural hair?
- You can simply snip off the ends of your Bling Me Beautiful if they are too long.
When is the best time to tie in Bling Me Beautiful ?
- The very best time to add Bling Me Beautiful to your hair is after washing/conditioning
when the hair is wet. The hair is easier to tie and Bling Me Beautiful tend to last
a little longer when tied into wet or damp hair.
How long will my Bling Me Beautiful stay tied in my hair?
- Bling Me Beautiful can last up to 4 weeks tied to a strand of hair.
The length of wear is related to the rate at which your hair falls out
and how gently you treat the hair. Avoid using combs (see above).
- If you would like to remove them, pull on the Bling Me Beautiful until it releases.
It is tied to a single strand, so it is easily pulled out.
We do NOT recommend that you cut the strands out.
- Bling Me Beautiful will usually last as long as the hair they are tied to remains in the scalp.
This of course varies by the individual.
If you tend to lose a lot of hair you may find you need to replace strands more frequently.
Fortunately, it is very easy to tie a new Bling Me Beautiful into your hair to replace any that are lost.
What are some good hair/Bling color combinations?
- While everyone has their own favorite color,
these are a few that have caught our eye when we experiment:
- DARK HAIR: Sizzling Black (for very black hair it is gorgeous!),
Sizzling Chocolate and any of the brights.
- RED HAIR: Sizzling Copper, Sizzling Gold, Sizzling Red (naturally), Sizzling Fuchsia,
Sizzling Purple, Pastel Rainbow and Orange Sunset
- BLONDE HAIR: Sizzling Silver, Sizzling Baby Pink, Sizzling Champagne, Luscious Lilac,
Precious Platinum (for an ash undertone), and any other brights--especially the blue colors
- MEDIUM BROWN HAIR: Sizzling Copper, Sizzling Chocolate, Polished Copper,
Precious Platinum, Sizzling Gold, Sizzling Champagne, purples, reds, fuchsia and blues
- GRAY OR SILVER HAIR: We love the Sizzling Silver
and any of the brights--they are gorgeous!
We have also learned that many people like to have a color that is
similar to their own hair color for everyday wear. So, if you are a
first time 'Blinger', try a package in a color that is closest
to your natural color and then a favorite bright.

Shipping
We will try to the best of our ability to ship orders out within 5 business days.
Shipping is done via USPS First Class Mail for 9 packages or less.
For orders over 10 packages, we will ship USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate.
If you require UPS, Fed Ex or DHL shipping, please tell us when you place your order.
Our regular/default shipping method is the US Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation.
Significantly larger orders will be handled on an individual basis.
No overnight shipping orders will be accepted after 1 PM MST.
Orders received after that time will be over-nighted out the next business day.
